KYLE & KIMBERLEY EXCEL AT COMPETITION

Brother and sister Kyle Hobgen aged 12 and Kimberley Solly aged 9 both travelled from Hastings to the Brighton Inter-club competition held at Deans Leisure Centre on Sunday 28th June. Both students who train every week at

the Robsack Wood school class in Hastings under their instructor Sempai Shaun Weller were both taking part in their very first competition. With over

150 children competing from SAMA classes held within the East Sussex

area both Kyle and Kimberley performed extremely well on the day.

Kyle won 2nd place in the sparring category and also won 2nd place demonstrating Pinan Shodan in the kata section. Kimberly also did very well taking home 3rd place for kata. Well done to both students for doing so well on your very first competition and walking away with some very nice trophies and medals!
